Simon Cottingham

A vote for me is a vote for Worcester's future.

Standing For:

Worcester City Council

St Stephen

Worcestershire County Council

St Stephen

Simon is CEO of an Advocacy Charity in Warwickshire and has lived in Worcester for the past five years.

Simon is a Community and Youth worker by training and has two grown up children (no grandchildren yet!).

Simon wants to see a Worcester that is at the forefront of tackling climate change, biodiversity and developing more support for small businesses.

He wants to make sure we are prepared for the inevitable move to electric cars and that we have the infrastructure to support this. He also wants to work for a solution to the Bilford Road tip which has become a real issue for St Stephens residents.

Simons's Priorities

  • Ensure residents needs are heard and communities consulted

  •  Supportive of local business & industry

  • Economic prosperity is vital for Worcester and Council needs to focus on core needs and the creation of opportunities.

  • Futureproofing Infrastructure, against primarily Climate Change for sustainable population growth

  • Better public transport, reducing congestion, easing our housing crisis and improving facilities

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

I hope you share my vision for Worcester and vote for me on the 6th of May, 2021.

Let’s try something radical, something positive and something united for the city in which we live, for the city which we all love.
Please feel free to message me with your concerns, issues or questions and I will be happy to reply.
