Karen has lived in Worcester all her life. Karen has a strong sense of
community spirit and fun. She has been a youth leader for over ten years,
engaging in activity holidays for groups of children of all ages.

An approachable person Karen has an open and friendly demeanour. She
lives in Claines, with her son, cats and chickens.

Karen believes that Claines is a charming and desirable place to live and
wants changes to be sympathetic. Claines has a wonderful mix of urban
dwelling and open green spaces which blends into countryside at the city’s
edge.

Being an engineer, Karen is accustomed to following processes to meet tight
deadlines to exacting customer requirements. She wants to bring her
experience and fortitude to represent Claines on the City Council alongside
her friend and Liberal Democrat colleague, Cllr Mel Allcott.

Karen has resided in Claines for over thirty years. During which time she has become part of the community and feels she has a good understanding of the concerns and issues experienced by the residents of the ward.

Because Karen is a sociable individual, she has engaged extensively with local people over many years. She is resourceful and has a warm and positive personality, understands both Claines and the wider world, and would be your ideal representative on the City Council.
